Hi Richard, the important thing about the three bend is that it’s a progressive bend – the first 2 semitones have no ‘fixed’ position and their tone will vary depending on you mouth position, that’s why you have to use your ear to judge. Hard to think of any specific word for the 3 bend but if you have the 2 or 4 bend down you should be able to start to bend the 3. Hope this helps. Cheers, Will.
